1. Introduction

Welcome to Tennant Designs! These Terms of Service outline the rules and expectations for our design services. By hiring us, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

2. Scope of Services

Tennant Designs offers a range of creative services, including logo design, branding, web design, social media graphics, and marketing collateral. The specifics of each project will be outlined in a separate project agreement or scope of work document.

3. Deposit & Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your project and initiate work. This deposit ensures your spot in our schedule and covers initial planning and design time.

  • The remaining balance is due upon project completion before the final deliverables are handed over.

  • Payments can be made via [list payment methods, e.g., PayPal, credit card, bank transfer].

  • Payments are due upon receipt of the final invoice. A 5% late fee will be applied to any unpaid balance every 30 days past the due date. A 7-day grace period is provided before late fees begin to accrue.

4. Refund Policy

  • The deposit is non-refundable, covering your project's initial time and resources.

  • If the project is canceled after work has begun, a partial refund of the remaining balance may be considered based on the completion stage.

  • The project is considered complete once the final deliverables are approved and handed over, and no refunds will be issued.

5. Revisions & Project Timeline

  • Each project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions, which we believe provides ample opportunity for feedback and adjustments. Additional revisions beyond this may be subject to an hourly fee of $75 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments. This policy helps ensure we stay on schedule and deliver your project efficiently.

  • We will provide an estimated timeline for each project, which may be adjusted based on client feedback and revisions. Delays in client communication may impact the overall timeline.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Upon full payment, you receive the rights to use the final design deliverables for your intended purposes (e.g., business use, marketing, web).

  • Tennant Designs retains the rights to showcase the completed project in our portfolio, social media, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • The original design files (e.g., raw PSDs, AI files) remain the property of Tennant Designs unless a separate agreement is made for their purchase.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide all necessary content, feedback, and assets in a timely manner to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

  • Any delays in providing feedback or required materials may impact the project timeline and completion date.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Tennant Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our services or deliverables.

  • We are not responsible for any issues caused by third-party platforms (e.g., hosting providers and printing services).

9. Termination of Agreement

  • Either party may terminate the agreement if the other party fails to fulfill their obligations as outlined in the project agreement.

  • In the event of termination, the client agrees to pay for any work completed up to the termination date.

10. Amendments & Updates

  • Tennant Designs reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
